Any notable exclusions that were expected to participate?

I will be rooting for Trey as an outfielder. That would be a good story after all the years of struggling as a pitcher. Hopefully it turns into a great story.

Any notable exclusions that were expected to participate? Not really. Were you expecting to see anyone not here? Note Cottam is hurt. Notable exclusion, but expected.

Yoan Aybar pitching to Trey Ball in a Fall Instructs intrasquad game is a wild sentence

Yoan Aybar pitching to Trey Ball in a Fall Instructs intrasquad game is a wild sentence Former 2nd round pick Williams Jerez would've been wilder. (Or third rounder Jordan Weems) Although Aybar was a better prospect before switching than either of them were.

I always enjoy seeing who gets the invite up from the DSL as some type of indicator as who the Org might be high on. Antoni Flores, Brayan Bello, and Miguel Suero all ended their season stateside so no surprise there. Outside of those guys, Danny Diaz, Ceddanne Rafaela, Gilberto Jimenez, Angel Maita, Kleiber Rodriguez, and Aldo Ramirez will be also be coming stateside so thats nice to see. This is definitely an exciting group overall as I think the strength of our farm system is the quality of our lower level guys.

Kleiber Rodriguez is an interesting guy in my opinion. Struggled immensely in his first year in the system and then missed all of last year with an injury. Came back in 2018 and hit over .300 with more walks than strikeouts. He was 19 in the DSL due to the injury and bad first year, but he’s probably the most unheralded guy on this roster and that makes him a guy to root for in my eyes.

Any notable exclusions that were expected to participate? Chad Hardy - High K rate but has obvious pop. Led GCL in HR's and RBI

Didn't realize Aybar had that kind of velocity! Athletic lefties who can sling it 98 don't grow on trees. When did they convert Jerez? Around the same age? If Yoan can get a feel for pitching, that would be interesting.

The most exciting thing about Instructs is getting a good report on someone who just isn't at all on the radar - Bryan Mata being kind of the gold standard of the genre. So yeah, getting excited for the Gilberto Jimenez era.

Can confirm that Ian is pushing for a pretty decent rankings jump on Jimenez. Not the Mata Instructs jump necessarily, but a pretty decent one.

I have some photos from yesterdays Instructional game in Sarasota. I haven't done this for awhile, and when I click on "insert photo" it makes no sense to me asking for a URL. I want it to look at my photos on my computer for uploading. Anyone tell me how to do this?
Casas, Decker, Flores, and Danny Diaz all played. Decker looked phenomenal. Hit the ball real hard and showed excellent speed by hitting a liner into right center that was cut off quickly and he somehow hustled it into a double. Later after hitting a hard single up the middle and being on first, there was a pass ball and he went from 1st to 3rd!! Close play and I believe he was safe, but the base umpire called him out. When you have only 2 umps, things are missed.
Anyway....if someone can tell me how to insert photos...I will do it.

Unfortunately, my understanding is that ProBoards doesn't really have photo upload ability. You'd have to upload them to a third-party site (Facebook, Photobucket, etc.) and link to them from there.
