Which resulted in a 4 pitch walk, so that to was at least a wash.

Xander loves him some bases loaded. Chavez isn't locating well. Let's see what happens...

Lol 2 different Sox hitters looked at 2 fastballs down the middle in that inning for strikes.

Not a fan of that AB by Bogaerts. Looked at two very good pitches.

Again, you're down a run in the bottom of the 9th! Not trying as hard as possible to score the tying run because you're thinking about having a better hitter available for a theoretical 11th inning is just ludicrous I'm more than willing to question bad managerial decisions, but this isn't even close to one. It's as close to a no-brainer as they get. And what did it accomplish besides nothing? And now you have Chavis, with 2 on and 2 out in JD Martinez spot. That's hindsight. I'm not going to respond anymore because "we shouldn't do everything possible to not lose the game in the bottom of the 9th because maybe that will hurt us in extra innings" is frankly too laughable to continue debating.

Watches two meatballs down the middle, lunges again. He gets some results, but Xander certainly can be unorthodox. That didn't work out well at all.

Heart of the Texas order coming up with Brasier on the mound. This should go well.

We've blown this game in multiple ways already. Now with Brasier on, it seems destined for an L, but maybe we can pull something out.

Cora's post game interviews - about his hitters attacking strikes, controlling the zone - seem to be going completely ignored. Time for him to smash a water cooler or something to wake his hitters up.

How is it hindsight when I said repeatedly before anything happened? They lost their best hitter and that might have cost them the game. It's very situational and Chavis isn't that much faster than Martinez. Again, you want to talk about putting out there Dee Gordon? Fine. Not Chavis.

I'm not overly familiar with the Rangers bullpen, but the Red Sox have gone through their bench so the Rangers could potentially counter with a lefty. If they have one left.

Heart of the Texas order coming up with Brasier on the mound. This should go well. Off to a great start. Wish the Sox had more talent in this bullpen.

This is on the offense for the 90000000th time.
RISP issues more of a problem then the BP.

Absolutely, utterly predictable - we get a hernia trying to score, Texas just eases into runs.
The only box that can't be checked for this game as far as showing all of the 2019 issues is weak starting pitching. Sale was great. But - pen issues, poor at bats, poor baserunning, lack of situational hitting, leaving people on base - this game is a microcosm of 2019 problems. Oh yeah - and Nunez.
