I think the Bullpen could use some help & I mean right now not at the trade deadline. So;
Francisco Liriano - Pittsburgh. 35 yr old LHP having a good year & very inexpensive salary.
Chatham & Dalbec for Liriano

Got to over pay to get it done now Chatham, ok maybe...but Dalbec, no way. That would be a terrible trade. Liriano is a mediocre pitcher. Chatham could have some value at 2b over the next couple of years. He's hardly irreplaceable but he could be useful, but Dalbec is starting to put things together and his ceiling is high enough that a trade like that is one you could be regretting for years. It wouldn't be worth risking what Dalbec could be for such a mediocre pitcher like Liriano who has a long track record of being mediocre. Five good minutes for Liriano doesn't change what he is. A 35 HR guy for a journeyman pitcher. Yeah, I'll pass on that one.

Dang embedded NY fans 🤣🤣🤣

Chatham & Dalbec for LirianoI'm not particularly high on either of those guys, but that seems heavy, no? Lol, Dalbec alone would be WAY too much. Seems like more trolling to me. Liriano, at best, should warrant a 40/40+ FV guy and **maybe** only a 35. Lol, he’s not even been very good...the 2.35 ERA doesn’t match up with his FIP/xFIP. It’s all smoke and mirrors. For a cheap rental? I wouldn’t even bother. He’s not appreciably better than what they have. If I’m the Sox and I’m moving youth for a relief arm, I’m spending on getting someone young with control. I *personally* wouldn’t do it, but if the team wants to shoot their shot going all-in, they need a good, if not impact, arm. Dalbec-Chatham might make sense for, say, Giles. But sure as hell not a careers’ end 35-y/o with very little left in the tank and only 4 months of value. The proposals get more ridiculous every day.
