The message board is much improved...looks great. I'm curious, will the "look" of the main page be improved as well? Only minimal changes.

Worth it imo. Just drink water from the tap the next couple of times you want to buy a soda and you'll come out even.

Site looks great, but is there a way to make every post not be "Centered"? Do I have it set wrong or is that the way it has to be? That would be the only thing that I don't like at all...

I wonder if that's something in your personal settings. I haven't seen that and it's certainly not supposed to be set up that way. Has anyone else had that problem?

I have the center justified problem (and a lot of others, actually) when I'm looking at the boards from work... which is both using an outdated version of IE, and blocks all sorts of random scripting related stuff. From home on standard Firefox, on my phone, etc it looks great.
Only question: is there any option that lets you turn off viewing other people's avatars? Call me old fashioned but I like the clean look.

One thing I just noticed: I don't see any differentiation between link text and regular text, so there's no way to see what's a link ... is that something that's global to the system, in the settings of this board, or just in my settings?

I agree, this is a bit of an annoying issue. As you can see in my previous post in this thread, it's very hard to spot the link text. I may start changing the link color text to blue to make it easily identifiable, but it would be nice if there was a way to globally implement the change.

That's always been true with Proboards. You have to manually add color/underlining to links which is annoying.

Links are now underlined.

I haven't been able to recreate the justification problem. It looks okay to me in FF/IE/Chrome/Dolphin. I also looked into the code and it appears to be fine - all center tags are closed.
Is anyone experiencing the problem on an up-to-date browser?
Can anyone post a screen shot?

My work uses an old version of IE. It's the only approved browser we're allowed. I have no problems at home when I am able to use modern software.

IE was notorious for non-standard behavior. The typical way to deal with it is a test for the browser at the other end and code accordingly. jt probably won't be the only one with the issue, but there's a point of diminishing returns.

I am having a issue and I don't know if it's the site or my settings/browser...
When I click on certain threads, the screen auto refreshes every 2 seconds... so much so that I can't even get through reading a couple lines and it refreshes. It's impossible to post and very hard to read. It only happens in some threads so I'm not quite sure what the heck is going on...it's a big problem today
