Tonight is the start of the KBO season, which is going to get coverage on ESPN, so why not follow old friends abroad?
P Casey Kelly (LG Twins) P Raul Alcantara (Doosan Bears) P William Cuevas (KT Wiz) and.... wait for it... P Seung(-jun) Song (Lotte Giants)
Yes, THAT Seung Song. He turns 40 in June. He threw 117 innings last year out of the bullpen (25 appearances).

Alcantara goes 6-6-3-3-2-3 to take the loss for the defending champs in the opener. I simply cannot believe that I'm living in a world where I care about this, but I do. Thanks for the update CH - now I know to look for the KBL on the tube.

LOL, my first TV in the Philippines was a used color "tube" that I bought for about $20. That was before they had analog to digital converters. I haven't heard that expression for a while.

I guess I hadn't given the expression much thought. I'd retire "tube", except "diode" has no flow whatsoever. This middle age guy is sticking with tube...

Cuevas takes the L. 5-6-6-6-0-5 line. Fell victim to one big inning.

You will never get me off the Casey Kelly bandwagon.

This deserves a quick stat line check-in.
-Raul Alcantara had a monster year. Finished the regular season 17-2 with a 2.67 ERA, 165 K and 27 BB in 178 2/3 innings. Led the league and K/BB and finished second in total strikeouts. And won-loss record is dumb, but 17-2!! -Casey Kelly: 3.35 ERA, 125 K, 38 BB in 161 1/3. -William Cuevas: 4.10 ERA, 105 K, 44 BB, 147 IP -Seung Song may finally be fading out: 22 appearances, just one start; 6.20 ERA, 25 BB, 14 BB, 24 2/3 innings
