He'd be a waiver claim, so it's not the player's choice. Ah. Didn't realize it was waivers. I have not seen Fulmer these last few years, but he had big stuff back in his prospect days. Does he still have a mid-90s fastball? I guess the thing that makes him appealing over those other guys is projection (if, that is, there is still the stuff there once was). But, yeah, at some point one does just have to say this guy might not happen. See on MLBTR that old friend Hector velazquez has been outrighted by the O's. Someone Sox this year could find interest in as an opener with such a bad staff and regardless of some.. As good as Johnson and Godley, which isn't saying much tho would prefer Carson Fulmer. Why not both? Staff is currently manned by 4-5 easily DFA'd at anytime with no great loss.
