Merry Christmas everyone! I'm one of the lucky one's to be working on Christmas Eve. So, if you're bored and want to talk baseball, I'm here all night. Hopefully, I'll have a decent night and can make a post or two to get a rise out of cdj.

Christmas morning here.
Christmas in the Philippines is more about community than family. If things go as usual, we will have families stopping in to say hi most of the day. We had an open dinner last night with about 25 guests stopping in at different times all evening. My wife outdid herself with shrimp, chicken cordon blue, baby back ribs, carbonara, baked ham with pineapple, adobo chicken, carrot cake, cookies, blueberry cheesecake, banana bread and a few others. I'm going to be fat.
As far as Covid is concerned, very little effect since we are allowed gatherings up to 25 people. We've been lucky with very few cases on our island.
Merry Christmas to all and a prosperous New Year.

Merry Christmas, Phils. I always assumed from your handle that you were in Philadelphia. Didn't realize it was the Philippines.

When I lived in California, my handle was Left Coast Bosox Fan. When I moved to the Philippines, I wanted Left of Left Coast Bosox Fan but, too many letters.

Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Boxing Day, and early Happy New Year everyone (in roughly chronological order)!
I expressed this sentiment in the pod the other day, but the fact folks like all of you come here are what makes what we do here worthwhile (it sure ain't the money!). Thanks for reading (and listening). Cheers to a 2021 that's better in every way, including, hopefully, that it'll involve real minor league baseball.
