I'd be surprised if De Jesus pitches given that he's leaving for the Olympic qualifier. More likely to be Kent, who followed him in his start last week.

Did Bell have Tommy John? I was looking forward to his progress.

Osinski up to Portland to cover for Casas and Dom D’Alessandro up to Greenville to cover for Osinski.
No moves yet for Downs, Duran, or De Jesus.

Charlie Madden has been added to the Worcester roster. If he gets into game action it will be his AAA debut.

I'd be surprised if De Jesus pitches given that he's leaving for the Olympic qualifier. He might have been surprised too--five runs allowed in two-thirds of an inning. Gomez holding down the fort since then with no runs, 2 hits, 2 BB, 3 SO (so far).

Cannon hits a grand slam to left field. Fought off a couple pitches and worked the count to 2-2 until he got a pitch he could handle.

Yikes they might have been better off starting yorke off in gcl. He has been awful in the field and in the batters box.

Good grief that announcer. Try to be less excited about the third most exciting play in baseball.

Nick Yorke is squarely on the Mendoza line. He’s 1-4 tonight. Baby steps.
