That line up got changed: Duran's out, Verdugo to CF, Shwarber to LF, Funky Bob is at 1st Uh-oh. Why is Duran out? It is a better lineup to begin with, even though it seems that illness is what caused it. There was a graphic on tv yesterday listing all the Sox COVID exclusions. This morning, there is news that the Tampa Bay Bradys have stated that EVERY coach, staffer and player has been vaccinated. My dear wife wants to know why the Sox have not done that. Yes, CBA, free choice and all that, but really, is not protecting the franchise worth some kind of extra effort. |

But you cannot make people take it unless it is mandated. Look, I'm very much in favor of everybody getting vaccinated, but they were not in a situation they could force people to take it. |

JD is making it easy for pitchers right now His "watch the fastball through the middle of the zone" approach does not pair well with his "swing at every breaking ball out of the zone" approach. Kinda weird, given his reputation, that he looks like such a dumb hitter lately. |

seems like the Schwarber at bats occur is slow motion, like the pitches come to him slower. weird from my perspective.
My 1st hope tonight is a win. 2nd hope is Lopez gets a hit. I don't think he has had one yet and you don't want to prolong that accomplishment.

So, Duran is now on the C19 list. Are we sure that comment by the announcer is right? Could it be that he has some symptoms, which require you get tested but could be something else? |
