Ronaldo has been hotter than the surface of the sun lately. Makes you wonder if he may have some trade value for this deadline...

Since June 4th he's batting .379/.381/.621. Exactly one walk in 105 PAs. 3% walk rate for the season. I'd like to see that part of his game get into the general vicinity of viability...
How's the defense look? Any improvement there?

Usually catchers have a good feel for the strike zone too. Very strange. That's not a profile that is going to work well in the majors. Why would anyone throw him strikes if he continually refuses to walk?

walks don’t get chicks, keep clubbing dongs + doubles Ronnie Baby!
in all seriousness though this nuclear stretch was the very predictable. I’d love to see him work on the approach tho. He’ll need it if that glove isn’t taking any strides

Christian is a FA. Maybe he's our starter next season. I wouldn't mind to DFA Kevin and getting him up here for a look.

Anyone know if he's had any games at 1B? Would be nice if he were a viable backup C and 1st baseman, to spell the lefty Casas on occasion.
Vazquez and Plawecki will be free agents after the season, and will be 32 next year, so having near-ready catching prospects panning out will be key.
