Crabbe had been with the Org since 2004. McMillon since 2008. Very interesting. Wonder if they'll be looking outside the org.
Mcdonald also reported that Abbott and Gedman were renewed.

Making room for Corey Wimberly?
Crabbe is 59-1/2 yo, so maybe he has invested wisely and is more interested in fishing than riding buses.
McMillon will only be 50 in November, so it's prolly not that for him.
Wimberly will be 38 in three weeks, so if they are making room for him in Worcester, that's a pretty wide-open future he's looking at.

Hopefully Lance Zawadzki will also be back, maybe at Woosta. If it were up to me, I'd have Abbot and Zawadzki at AAA. No opinion for manager though. The only downer is I'd have to learn to spell Lance's last name without cut 'n pasting it from Google. |
