Profile is more of an org player. Older player who signed for minimal money from the 10th round. Would you mind sharing what it is that you've seen from him that makes you think he's better than that? Didn't mean to suggest that he's a top prospect, just that from that group, he's a guy with more tools that could develop. He want to a small school and likely didn't the same coaching and certainly not the same competition that many other had. Some time to develop might be worthwhile. Likely org guy, yes. But I think, just my pure speculation having never seen him, an org guy with a greater chance than others to have a breakthrough.

Love the young arms throughout the system. Expect Brian Johnson or Pat Light or Austin Maddox to dominate in Greenville and get promoted quickly (like Barnes last year). Buttrey will probably replace one of them as soon as they are headed to Salem. Kukuk could be really interesting and I hope he stays a FULL year in Greenville with the Drive.
Their positional players leave a lot to desire, but I have hope for guys like Nick Moore and of course Jose Vinico.

Some of those weak Greenville roster spots will be filled by players who excel in Lowell with early season promotions. After the draft, the Spinners, like GCRS, will have an infusion of talent forcing upward moves.
