Now I'll be singing RHCP all day. Never a bad thing I don't know if this is a common opinion or not but I really like maybe 40% of their catalog and the rest ranges from "does nothing for me" to "is actively annoying." Their "yell rap" type songs and songs just about Southern California are especially not my bag. Snow is a great song though and Hard to Concentrate is just a very sweet song that I find myself going back to frequently. Anyways, on the subject of Red Sox prospects hoping Liu turns things around from a bit of a stinker in his opener. I like the stuff overall, but I do sometimes worry that if the breaking ball consistency doesn't take a step forwards homers will continue to be a problem.

After 10 games (45 PA), Triston Casas has: 17.8% Walk rate 17.8% K rate .286 IsoP 65.4% (LD+FB) rate At a certain point you would like him to struggle a little bit so he could make adjustments et be a learning experience when he reaches the big league club lol

All three of his singles yesterday were listed as line drives, but they all looked like ground balls to me. I might be wrong - the camera work on TV isn't very good and I wasn't paying close attention. Or maybe the guy making these calls in Worcester is a little sketchy.

Why are some pitchers names in italics ?

Thanks for video evidence, I take it back. They all kinda bounced in infielder range which is what I may have been remembering.

Rain Dance Maggie, enough said. Why are some pitchers names in italics ? Its says in the fine print (in italics), right above box scores I guess I just never noticed before. Aside, (sorry). Two groups that I've never seen in concert but saw a lot of before they became stars are the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The J. Geils Band. I can't say I remember anything specific about RHCP because they were the most popular night club band in LA (sellouts every night), I was single and really wasn't there for the band. JGB is a different story, they played in upstate New York and Western Mass, I was a UMass student who usually had a lady friend so, I was there for the music. I'm a blues fanatic and Magic Dick is probably the best blues harp man on the planet.

Bello gave up a leadoff HR on a 97 MPH belt high fastball. He gave up some good contact on the fastball in his first start too. I wonder if the spin rates aren't too hot on it.
edit: 3 straight strikeouts with 8 whiffs after the HR lol

Bello already has 13 swinging strikes through 2 innings.
ADD: 18 through 3 innings.

Swinging strike on 42% of his pitches. Is that good?

Gilberto with home run #2 on the season. Two in 32 at bats so far this season after 3 in 373 at bats last year.

We knew coming into the season that Portland lineup was bad but my god ,beside Hamilton, they're down right awful. Can't wait for Yorke/Binelas to get there.

I mean why isn't Ricky Ledee or Nick Johnson in the HOF already? Gary Sanchez reminder here today.

They are so overrated always it annoys me. Anyone else remember Jesus Montero or Brad Halsey? Lol There must be some type of scouting payoff. And nevermind those prospects in the Chapman Reds trade who clearly sucked
