Portland's rained out. They'll try again tomorrow.
What I want to know is why the hell they had an 11:05 start when it's not a getaway day...

It is opening weekend in New Britain, so all of the kids from there and the surrounding towns were going to take a field trip during school to go see the game. I've been there for these games before. It is absolute mayhem.

Owens dealing: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K
Coyle with another HR and Marrero with a double. Add in Cecchini's hot start and this is going to be a fun year in Salem.

Sean Coyle could be the breakout player of the year.

Sean Coyle could be the breakout player of the year. Love Coyle's tools, but consistency (and below average contact) have plagued him. I would love to see him have a BIG breakout season. The prospects on this team are really interesting and fun to follow.

Salems stacked. Greenevilles lineup kinda blows though

The draft should add at least three to the Greenville class, and then there are a couple extended spring guys of interest.
Probably not a huge help for this year, however.

For as long as Henry Owens is in Salem, I will refer to him as HOVa.
