I'm blacked out, so listening. Probably lucky that's the case. Already trouble. Hill is probably over (the hill that is). Starting to ponder how bad our record will end up. Thinking under .500, but how far??? They're at 13 now but would have to really tank to move further down. Arizona and Miami are tied at 12 and I think 4 games behind the Sox.

Let's dream on a full healthy season of Arroyo. There is clearly a baseball player in there. Would be nice to see him for more than 70 games a year. Don’t fall for it. This is very similar to the situation the Yankees were in with Luke Voit. Eventually you realize that the guy just can’t stay healthy and you move on. I like Arroyo. He’s had some great moments, but you can’t count on him as a starter.

I have to admit, I think Hosmer will be really valuable next year. He is sort of like Moreland, though probably a bit better hitter. He isn’t your star, but that’s fine… he is solid and lengthens the lineup. Between at-bats that were lost causes from the on deck circle and missed routine plays that end up starting rallies I legit think we would have 3 or 4 more actual wins if we'd had him all year.

Hill is toast. That pitch to Riley could’ve gotten someone in New Hampshire killed.

Could that meatball be any fatter to Riley
Make sure there getting there money out of Hill.
Batting practice
Nothing bothers me more when we finally get a lead and the pitcher right away pisses it away.

I can see how he might be untradeable. This is BP.

Would you rather have the next 10 years of Austin Riley, or the next 10 years of Rafael Devers?
Assume contracts aren't an issue.

What will the white flag look like for this team? Cora will never give up, but players may already be going through the motions. Dead team walking?

This reminds me of the game Yarbrough had against the Sox when Eck was just dragging Yarbrough for like 3 innings.

I had no idea Riley was this good, or that he was having this big of a season. He looks to be an MVP front-runner with those numbers. P.S. I’ll take Devers.

I agree, we barely can catch anyone, there are a lot of bad teams.

Ok Tommy Pham
Assaulted that ball like it circumvented the waiver wire in fantasy football

What will the white flag look like for this team? The Orioles putting distance on us should be enough.

It is hard to imagine the Sox would not have 3-4 games towards the WC with Pham/Hosmer or the near equivalent this year.

How many times does he go for that pitch? The FO played his contract perfectly.
