Still no Bleis in the lineup. Romero at 2B, Anthony in LF, Coffey at SS, Brannon catching.

It's the third inning and Roman Anthony already has another multi-hit game - his 5th in a row. He has a hit in all nine games he's played.

As I have pointed that Coffey's show start was not to be worried over too much, so too must I warn against reading too much into Anthony's (or anyone else's) hot start. It's great to see and certainly better than the alternative! But I'm definitely not extrapolating to conclusions about tool grades at this stage either.

Yosander Ascencio with a 4-5 day w/ 2 2Bs. He's sneaky been having a really good season. He's got the highest OPS amongst the 17 year old DSL Red Sox players w/ a .847 OPS.

Agree and I know it’s only 1 spot but Lugo is the better prospect. Just throwing that out there since it is top 20. 😂

So you're saying I should not have reserved a hotel in Cooperstown for the 2050 induction ceremony?

Won't get in until at least 2055.

Anyone want to guess which guys keep playing after the FCL season ends? Would love if they give Romero some Low-A at bats. 15.4% Walk rate 7.7% K rate .182 IsoP Damn, that's sexy! Crowded infield though so it won't happen.

You’re all wrong. 2025+20+6= 2051 So then you aren't expecting a September callup ? Pfffffffft. You must think it's coincidentl that they put him on a team whose season ends just before the magic MLB rookie eligibility cutoff date.

But if you dream on a guy having a HOF-esq career it's not unreasonable to assume they could pile drive their way through the minors and start their MLB career at a young age. If he was that special player I could see a late 2024 call up and starts his clock in 2025, which he won't turn 21 until early into that season. But, it would have to be a Mookie-esq rise through the minors. You might call me a dreamer........but this is a prospects forum.
