Ceddanne with a bomb. Just so you know, he could be promoted to MLB right now and hit .250 with elite defense, and about 20-25 HR's per year.
He will eventually be a .275-.300 hitter at the major league level. Number #3 prospect in the system for me. Basically, it's a 3 way tie between him, Bello, and Mayer, with Casas being 4th.

Follows it up with a triple. #cyclewatch

You realize the player you’re describing is like a top 50 player in baseball at worst right?

I called it back in the day when I tried to get Mookie to the Nationals. I scouted for them when Harper, Strasburg, and others came up. Before that, I did some scouting for the Dodgers. I am still close with Matt Kemp and Carlos Santana. I know what I am talking about.

Rafaela is still way too aggressive at the plate for MLB pitching. He’s made progress lately in Double A, but major league pitchers would eat him up right now. He’ll be a good player someday, but he won’t be there right away with his current skill set. To make that claim is laughable.

I will stand by my claim and die by it. You can all come back later and thank me if you want.. What do you even mean by "aggressive"? His hand-eye coordination is in the 99th percentile. There are outliers and he is certainly one.

Don't get me name-dropping ... Lol. You want more names and credentials?? I can put you to sleep faster than a White Sox loss and LaRussa trying to drive himself home.

Great job identifying those under the radar prospects Strasburg and Harper.

Great job identifying those under the radar prospects Strasburg and Harper. Thanks, I also scouted Sandy Leon, Lenny Dykstra's kid, Michael Taylor, and others. I also have too many stories to share about the partying that Jose Iglesias and Matt Barnes did whenever they visited Harrisburg. Iglesias is even slicker with women than he is at SS, and that is saying something!

In fact, this was when I lived in Palm Beach Gardens (glad to have escaped that shitty state) - Kemp, Santana, Hanley Ramirez, Edwin Jackson, James Loney, etc. Lyle Mouton way back in the day was the first guy I officially scouted. He was a super talent that played at LSU, had a brief career for the White Sox, went to Japan, and then faded..

I can break most all local Boston sports news. For example, Malcom Butler was benched in the Super Bowl because he was playing around with Steve Belichick's partner at the time.

There are outliers and he is certainly one. Rafaela does have good hand-eye coordination. But his over-aggressive approach means he swings at pitches he shouldn’t. His special hand-eye coordination means he makes contact with the bad pitches, but it’s generally poor quality contact on the trash pitches. When he learns to lay off the bad stuff, he’ll be a great player. Until then, major league pitchers will eat him up. The difference between AA and MLB is huge. Let him play before calling him a perennial all star.

No one has ever hit 20 hrs with a low walk total in A ball and AA at age 21 and then not gone on to hit .275-.300 with 20-25 HR's per year in mlb. That's a lock.
