Rafaela September. 38 PA 10.5 K% 2.6 BB% The lower strikeout rate is cool, but the rest of his stat line has me a tad concerned he's been a little overaggressive. OBP is only .263. It's also a small sample at the end of a long season.

Joel, help me out here... ELO or Archie Bells... I'm missing the relevance today (unless the spirit just moved you, but you tend to have nice little tie-ins!)
EDIT: Oh, did you just mean Portland playing Somerset with the playoffs on the line? Gotcha.
To that end:
Win 2 and they win the division.

Have to use your best Jeff Lynne singing voice when reading this thread title.
And yes, referring to Portland at Somerset. Sox (Sea Dogs) vs. Yankees (Patriots). Sea Dogs need to win at least 2 games to hang on to the division title. Maybe it wasn't as obvious as I thought it was.

Dearden hit a really nice home run to left just now. He's been hitting well lately.

Rafaela 2/3 with a 2b and single, with an a rbi on each hit. His out was a drive near the warning track in rcf. Hamilton with three SBs to reach 70.
Correction: they say both hits are singles.

It's also a small sample at the end of a long season. Tiny sample sizes are easy to sway. After a few games off for the hit by pitch, he returned for a small series of 0fers. ADD: But he did get your memo, 3/4 so far today.

Ronaldo Hernández with a HR after his return from pulling his groin.
I wouldn't be unhappy with him as the AAA primary backup next year.

lol, I was hoping Rafaela would get a bases loaded shot (he has 7 RBI over the last 3 games) but Hamilton struck out and Abreu lined out to kill that.

For me he's checking the main two boxes: Throwing hard and staying healthy.

If that's the case, we might as well cut bait now. I wouldn't want to see Wong optioned next year because of situations.

I'm thinking wait until the end of camp in case they have an injury and/or a team gets desperate.
