for a drug of abuse, defined as one of the following: Marijuana, Cocaine, LSD, Opiates, Ecstasy, GHB or PCP.
Also, Gerson Bautista (DSL pitcher) was suspended for 50 games for Stanozolol, commonly sold under the name Winstrol (oral), which is a synthetic anabolic steroid.

Today's science blurb: while many people think that anabolic steroids are bad for the liver, it's actually only certain oral versions that are. Winstrol is one of these because it's a 17-alpha ankylated molecular structure allowing it to pass through the liver without being broken down significantly. However, it causes a buildup of these structures and excess enzymes to be stored in the liver. Over time, this causes toxicity problems.

I just find it odd that MLB suspends a player 50 games for smoking weed(guessing). Yet, won't for a DUI like Gallardo or the upcoming Britton case in the off-season.

It's because major league players have the player's union advocating on their behalf, but minor league players have zero negotiating leverage and so disciplinary measures for minor leaguers are almost across-the-board harsher. If he was on the 40-man, MLB wouldn't be able to suspend him without previous failed tests and a legal fight from the player's union. It's why HGH testing was first rolled out in the minor leagues in 2010 to little fanfare and why MLB may require minor league pitchers to wear Kevlar cap liners in the next year or two.
