Every time I say today's Greenville starter's name in my head, I do it to this tune:

Good to see Breslow name there. It will be key to get him back in Boston.

Breslow will pitch for an inning then, it'll be Brandon Workman turn.

Jose Colorado from XST to Greenville, Bryan Johns to Salem, no word on Salem countermove.
EDIT: Marrero to Salem DL with hamstring tweak.

Greenville being no-hit through four innings. Hitless wonders. Jose to Mookie to The Boss were saddest of possible words.

Light with a strong start giving up two runs on three singles.

They play that between innings at McCoy. I had no idea that was players in it though, but then again I've never paid attention past the mascots dancing.

Rubby struggles with his command, only 51% of 56 pitchers for strikes, but he gets through 3 without allowing a run. 1 hit, 2 BB, HBP, 1 K. Assume he's done after 3

Are the shackles off? Or is he done at three?

No more worry about our top prospect. LD single, walk, and Flyball triple.

That's fine, but can you give me something to get excited about? Also: Bradley 2-for-2 with a walk so far. It'll be fun to see him a couple months from now, when he's actually ready to hit major league hitting. (He can hold his own anywhere with his approach, but he just couldn't seem to make solid contact. He will soon enough.)

god the greenville offense is just embarrassingly terrible. One player batting above .240. It looks like a long year in Greenville.

That's fine, but can you give me something to get excited about? A 2-2 night with a walk a triple and no strikeouts is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for last night. Take out his night tonight and he's got a bunch of Ks, a few walks, a bunch of singles and few extra base hits. Glad to see him hit with authority. Also, Heiker Meneses? Having himself a heck of a month.
