The countermove to Rogers promotion is Bradley Blalock activated by Salem. He was on the Greenville long-term IL, but activated and assigned to Salem so it's not technically a rehab assignment. I'm assuming he'll get the start tonight.

Blalock goes 4 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3K in his return to the mound. Kudos to him. I tried to tune in a little bit and he seemed to sit mostly 93-96 with his FB with some occasional big looping curveballs in the low to mid 70s. Control seemed pretty sharp for a guy who hasn't pitched in quite some time.
