Just for fun, here's five unheralded guys I'll be checking for in the morning box scores.
Zach Fogell - Local lefty 18th-rounder who I think might move quickly. Jorge Benitez - Mariners castoff who has drawn favorable comparisons to Rich Hill ... from Rich Hill. Nick Sogard - Glove is his carrying tool but can get on base; wouldn't surprise me if he gets his taste of joe this season. Mickey Gasper - Minor league Rule 5 backstop from the MFYs, switch hitter, also a local bloke. Jonathan Brand - Underpowering arsenal but all he does is get guys out. Next stop, Greenville.
Honorable mention: Noah Song - Is there anyone reading this who won't be habitually checking his box scores?
EDIT: By unranked, I mean not in the SP60.

I'll swap in Brand's college teammate Jacob Webb, then. Whiffed Vladdy Jr. in Dunedin yesterday.

I’ll just go with a general grouping and say that mid-draft crop of college arms from last year: Trennor O’Donnell Blake Wehunt Max Carlson Cade Feeney Isaac Stebens
Even if they’re mostly relief-only profiles, it will be exciting to see what this new pitching development staff can do to guys at the very front end of the pro development lifespan.

Jeremy Wu-Yelland as a fastball/slider reliever from the left side could move fast through the system and have Josh Taylor type run in the majors.
Blake Wehunt is a 6'7 guy with good control and a completely new Driveline'd up repertoire that I'm excited to see in action
Those are the two that stand out to me

Was kind of all over the place but put up a goose egg. BB, K, BB, popup, F9 Didn't seem overpowering enough with his FB to account for his lack of command. Maybe he cleans that up this year. Sadly, Will and Lou on the radio call couldn't figure out who he was until the inning was almost over because he was wearing the same number as Cam Booser (71) and they couldn't read his name from the booth.

Dominant day for Wehunt today. Out of curiosity - where did you hear about his driveline work? I searched around and didn’t see much on him.

The reference is to all of the ex-Driveline guys in the org and that his new pitch mix meshes with their values.

He's ranked but I wouldn't be surprised to see Cleanthony Early rise up the list. He got the biggest bonus of any Sox pitcher in the draft last year and it looks like he has a decent floor with some projection remaining.

Just an observation. We have a pretty good group of ranked prospects; a strong farm. This list, so far, of about 25 unranked guys to watch says, to me, we actually have a very good group; a very strong farm with a bright future. Again. Especially with a dozen recent prospects already at Fenway. Some combination of someones have done their job well
