I don't have the data to back it up, but it seems like there is an epidemic in the Red Sox system of being thrown out on the bases. Seemingly a ton of caught stealing - with Anthony being the most recent.

I know he hasn’t spent all that much time in Salem, but that ballpark is where hitting goes to die. Bleis has a 15% BB, 17% K, and 34% LD rate, and I want to see him in Greenville in hopes for some Roman Anthony 2023 type surge upon leaving. |

I wonder how quickly Penrod could potentially force his way into the MLB depth discussion. If he keeps performing anywhere near this level, he's gotta be in Worcester pretty soon.

I was at the Greenville game last night. Perales struggled and was a bit wild. Beaned two and bounced a bunch of pitches. Does he have a weirdly late release point? Chacon and Coffee were both hitting the ball well with little to show for it.

Frawley Stadium (Wilmington) does a terrible job of telling you who's playing, with rare batter announcements and absolutely zero info about the pitchers. |
