6 of 52 called strikes were true balls and 3 of those went against Dalbec. What are the odds against that? Poor Bobby. First he gets called out on plainly wrong calls. Then he barrels one up and it’s right at the 3Bman. We know he runs hot and cold. Given that he is going nowhere for the moment, fingers crossed that he gets his mojo back. Even a little bit. I was thinking that " maybe Bobby thru injury outlasts the slump, and maybe he slowly gets back to a decent power hitter. " The problem is that at the major league, he is what hes become. Theres no bounceback, because it isnt a bad stretch , its his MLB baseline. He simply sktrikes out so much it never allows him to get going. He sees the ball well one at bat and walks or lines-out hard at somebody, then the very next AB he strikes out, usually on 3 or 4 pitches destroying any confidence had .. He cant string togwther a run of good ab's because, he his K rate never lets hum build.

I rewatched the game and there were 15 favorable calls of balls and strikes to pittsburgh and 5 favorable calls of balls and strikes for the Sox. Brennan Miller should be in the dust bin.
