Frederick site says it will be Augliera instead of Owens though I wouldn't be surprised if Owens pitched instead.

Augliera goes 7 for Salem. Only needed 83 pitches.
Anyone else feel like the Sox are letting pitchers go deeper into games this year?

Lavarnway is doing his best Pedroia imitation with all the line drives to RF. Call me crazy but maybe he could help us right now.

I'm intrigued by Snyder, a guy who never really got a shot.
JBJ, Snyder, Lavarnway, Holt all with 2 hits today... all putting themselves in position to help in case of injury. Can't remember where I read it, but it sounds like JBJ is up for a week once all his restrictions are lifted.

Rafael "raffy" Perez could be a good addition to this system in case of another injury to the Boston pen. I would not at all be surprised to see him in Pawtucket after a couple more outings(rehabbing from injury)

For Snyder... 13th overall pick in 2005, 56 career games
Of course he does have a career .322 OBP in AAA... but he may be a decent fill-in at 3B for a week here or there if he can keep hitting closer to a .275/.350/.450 line. Better option than Mauro was at least.
