Others could include Cano and Gio Gonzalez with suspensions up to 100 games.

Gio is likely to be exonerated (says so at the bottom of the report) because what he received was legal.

Wonder how much money MLB paid for all this information.

Cano and Gonzalez are NOT among the players the article says are potentially facing suspension. The actual list is below.

It's worth noting that in exchange for Bosch's "word" on what happened, the charges against Bosch are being dropped. That's always a recipe for saying whatever the other party (MLB) wants to hear. Not saying he's making anything up and these types of deals are used all the time, but still worth noting
I'm interested to see how they handle Grandal. They suspended him and he admitted to being an idiot and missed the first 50 games of the year. Wonder if they treat the whole thing as 1 instance since it's likely he tested positive for what he got from Bosch and came clean, or if it becomes strike two. He came back last week FWIW

Wow there are MFY'S involved? You got to be kidding me. I thought they found the fountain of youth in the Bronx. I heard someone associated with Cano was invlolved with the place.

MLB reportedly prepping ARod suspension. As a Sox fan I don't know how I feel about this. At this point is he more valuable in the clubhouse playing mediocre baseball and alienating his teammates?

The article references that a spokeswoman for Cano's foundation was listed on some of the clinic documents and there was a reference to MLB investigating whether she may have been serving as his go-between with the clinic.
I am sure that we will hear a lot more details in the days ahead.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was odd that the Feds would drop anything, but the reports I saw didn't mention it being only MLB dropping it, which means little to nothing

Watching ARod fail stopped being fun a few scandals ago.
He's just bad for baseball, period. It'll be a good day when he's out of the league for good.

My issue with A-Rod being named is that the Yanks will try and find a way to void his contract, something that would be a huge burden lifted off their shoulders.
In regards to Braun, if this report is true, it would be his 3rd incident, correct? If so, I hope the MLB comes to their senses and bans him for life. He lied about being clean, then lied about it again, then proceeded to lie AGAIN in order to beat the system (which resulted in a long investigation, a bulls*** MVP award, and the firing of an MLB employee). With medicinal advancements each year, it's going to get harder and harder to catch players of steroid use (IMO), so you might as well make an example of the biggest cheater out there in order to scare others.

There is a 0% chance they are able to void his contract.
And that's absurd about Braun. He's definitely a liar and definitely a cheat, and I hope he gets a major suspension for acting all high and mighty after being "cleared." But a life ban? That's crazy talk.

There are still more than a few prominent figures I strongly suspect. Most of the above list aren't in this category.
MLB isn't being hurt too much by this. As for the testing I thought they'd be about five per year--fails-- but who knows maybe the testing is a piece of cake to get through without a positive.

Seems like the most likely outcome is a year or two of more negative press about PEDs in baseball and the players involved don't end up getting suspended.
I don't care -- I'm beyond sick of the whole subject.
