McCarthy is, in theory, on TIA, so Salem will need to make a roster move. Not that we'll hear what it is...

Portland's scored 4 runs, and Bogaerts has scored 3 of 'em ... he's 2-3 with a triple, 1K/1BB.

I don't think this includes today, but in June so far, Garin Cecchini has two strikeouts to seven walks and an OBP that exceeds his SLG by nearly 100 points (.484/.391). Granted this is a minuscule sample, but do we think it's maybe time to get him to a league where he'll actually be pitched to?

Wow. The PawSox got 17 hits, including two HRs, only hit into one DP, and still somehow only scored 5 runs. That's seems extraordinarily difficult to do.

My main hombre Keith Couch with an all around awesome start. Can you even get hyped up enough?

Robby Scott's last 20.1 IP: 3.10 ERA, 17H, 17-9 K/BB, 2HRA, 1.2 GO/FO.
Such a weird career path too, going from GCL to Lowell in 2011, back to the GCL in 2012, then up to Salem in 2013.

A guy I thought would take a step forward this year, KDLC is hitting well in June (.357) but has an OBP of .349 for the month. Someone I really thought was on track, and expected a little more. Even with his Ks down, he just can't take a walk. Same for Jacobs. Marrero had a promising month, but not much since.
Vazquez is mired in a big slump, so I doubt there's going to be a hole to promote Swihart into, but by July, with Garin gone and without anyone to bring up from Greenville, both A/A+ teams may have a rough 2nd half.

Swihart with 2 more CS. He has been fine defensively. Only 4 PB so far this year.

KDLC: 1 walk in his last 106 PA's. Not the be all, end all though. Only 18 k's in that stretch. Dude just loves to swing... Swihart wasn't going to get promoted midyear anyway. He's young in his development as a catcher - he'll go a level each year, at least. Vazquez now 2 for his last 35, 7 BB, 8 K. .071 BABIP, fwiw.
