I urge people experiencing the problem to contact ProBoards support. They are really pretty good and responsive. It's difficult for me to contact them without being able to recreate the problem in front of me.

Place your vote for the player that you feel had the best "comeback" season in 2013. A "comeback player" is one who you judge to have re-emerged on the baseball field or as a prospect during the past season. Please do not vote based on who you think is the best prospect or who you think may perform better in the future. This poll will close on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 pm. All stats are cumulative for all Red Sox minor league affiliates. Nominees for Breakout Player of the Year are not eligible to be nominated in this category. Full stats are available here: www.soxprospects.com/stats/hitting.phpwww.soxprospects.com/stats/pitching.phpMichael Almanzar .268/.328/.432, 16 HR, 13 SB (Por) Drake Britton 7-7, 3.77, 1.37, 85/37, 102.2 IP (Paw/Por) Rubby De La Rosa 3-3, 4.26, 1.41, 76/48, 80.1 IP (Paw) Brian Johnson 2-6, 2.54, 1.12, 84/35, 85.0 IP (Sal/Gre) Anthony Ranaudo 11-5, 2.96, 1.14, 127/47, 140.0 IP (Paw/Por) Note: Michael Almanzar was the 2012 Comeback Player of the Year, but is nominated this year as well on the grounds of a continued comeback to prospectdom. Drake Britton was nominated for his comeback from a mediocre-to-decent 2012 season and a harrowing off-season situation, which was of his own making. Rubby De La Rosa was nominated for coming back from 2011 Tommy John Surgery and missing most of 2012. Brian Johnson was nominated for coming back from getting hit in the face by a batted ball in August 2012. Anthony Ranaudo was nominated for coming back from a subpar 2012 season. Vote as you see fit.

Place your vote for the player that you feel had the best "breakout" season in 2013. A "breakout player" is one who becomes a significant prospect after previously being considered less than such, or also one who rises from non-prospectdom to vault himself into prospect status. Note that certain players like Garin Cecchini were tabbed as "breakout players" last season, and thus are not eligible this season. Players in their first pro seasons are also not eligible to be breakout players. Players nominated for Comeback Player of the Year are also not eligible to be nominated as breakout players. Please do not vote based on who you think is the best prospect or who you think may perform better in the future. This poll will close on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 pm ET. All stats are cumulative for all Red Sox minor league affiliates. Full stats are available here: www.soxprospects.com/stats/pitching.phpwww.soxprospects.com/stats/hitting.phpMookie Betts .314/.417/.506, 15 home runs, 38 stolen bases (Sal/Gre) Luis Diaz 9-4, 1,96, 1.08, 94/24, 101.0 IP (Sal/Gre) Chris Martin 5-3, 5 saves, 2.25, 1.06, 74/16, 72.0 IP (Paw/Por) Henry Owens 11-6, 2.67, 1.13, 169/68, 135.0 IP (Por/Sal) Christian Vazquez .287/.375/.391, 5 HR, 7 SB (Paw/Por)

Time to voice your vote on the 2013 Community Red Sox prospect rankings. You know the drill - rank your top 40 Red Sox prospects. Criteria for rankings should be your opinion of each prospect's "expected value" at the big league level, not solely based on ceiling, and not necessarily for the Red Sox. We're not going to set any strict guidelines as to how you should rank prospects, except that we do ask that you follow one rule - please only vote for eligible prospects and do not exclude players from eligibility based on your own criteria. The following players are eligible:

Heard that the cutoff might be 2.119 this year. Significantly lower than in past years. So you might be right.

Can somebody check ProBoards Support? support.proboards.com/All I do for tech problems is go right to them and than report back. They're usually really good, especially when it's a common issue. The issue might already be posted and solved there. I won't have time to check with them today.

See that David Renfroe is projected as a pitcher in 2014. Is he now in the GCL working on pitching? That's what we've heard. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4

I greatly appreciate the input, there are some excellent bits of knowledge in there. But you may want to work on not stating your opinions as fact. I think they will be received better by the staff and other members of the board, and everybody can be happy campers.
FWIW, you've probably put more focus here than we have this season. While we try to make weekly updates to the page, we just don't have a ton of man hours to dedicate to the 2014 page during the season (we put a lot more emphasis in the off-season). So I am being sincere when I say we truly appreciate the input.

Discussion question:
Cliff Lee & Michael Young for Will Middlebrooks, Anthony Ranaudo, Blake Swihart, Bryce Brentz, Drake Britton, & Wendell Rijo.
Would the Red Sox go for that? Would the Phillies? Would you?
(Disclaimer: this type of stuff should go in trade proposal subforum at other times of year)
