This is such a non-issue. They play tomorrow (tonight I guess), E-Rod pitches. Pomeranz is probably the backup to go a few innings if E-Rod sucks to start. if Pomeranz sucks, oh well you just leave him out there and take the loss. Then Brasier, Barnes and Kimbrel can all go as well. And Sale probably if needed if it's a close game.

Is there a protocol for this game in terms of timing? Like if it goes 67 innings and it's 5 pm local time and Game 4 is about to start, what happens?

I was joking earlier when I said I could make the 27th inning if I got on the road then, but maybe I should have been more serious.

So after Pomeranz pitches I think you have to go to Vazquez and put Pomeranz at first.

That ump took so much satisfaction in calling that a strike. It wasn't, but at least my disdain for it is masked by my hatred for Machado. I'm torn.

Eovaldi was scheduled to pitch tomorrow so he should be able to go at least 80% of whatever he was normall going to pitch, right? So like 80 pitches at least. Then Pomeranz can pitch 80 or so and that'll get us to the 18th inning at least I think.

That ball was closer to being fair than the strike to Mookie was to being in the strikezone.

Easily foul. Next. Oh wait, here comes the home plate umpire ruling it fair and unreviewable. A strange turn of events.

This game is getting late even for Dodger fans. Some of them can't have water or food after midnight.

I literally can't believe I am still watching this with how bad this umpire is. It's so bad. I hate it. If I hadn't already had six beers I'd probably just shut it off. The result of this game means nothing from an objective POV.

This game sucks so bad. I don't even care who wins. This ump makes the result meaningless since it's not even about the athletes on the field. Why even watch? Why even care who wins? I don't even care if Mookie goes ballistic and gets tossed there.

This is insane. Just kill yourself, ump. Imagine being this bad at your job. Unreal.

The only thing I want for Christmas is for someone to write a check-swing rule that is objective and clear. Any of you lawyers up for the task?

I'd rather Angel Hernanez be the homeplate ump tonight. This is so unwatchable.

It should be 2-1 right now because Leon only had to swing at that last pitch becuase the ump is so atrocious that he'd have potentially called it a strike.

This ump is so bad. Completely insufferable.

Please bunt again. Just get to Mookie. Can't risk a GIDP.

Watch Nunez steal second here on a broken ankle.

Nunez, you have to be kidding me. Fluke infield single, fluke infield single.

Yeah, like Nunez' 16 foot ground ball single. I wasn't complaining about luck, I was mocking the call of the play. They were absolutely amazed at it. Well it's a pretty exciting play when you want to go home. lmao Nunez swinging on 3-0. C'mon, dude.

When is the last time a team had to field a team with fewer than 8 position players? One fluke injury away from that right now. Although I guess they would do something crazy with Pomeranz as a position player and then Eovaldi would just pitch until the game was over.
