Man, remember what a big deal Salty was when he came up with ATL? Never good to be a 32 year old color commentator.

Little Papi has hit home runs in 3 straight plate appearances. Glad I'm not the only one calling him that. I think we are witnessing the beginning of something very very special I've been messing around with "Baby Papi', because of the babyface, but I think either is appropriate.

Glad they pulled this one out. Especially since they made me miss Rick & Morty for it. Good win. Should have been a series sweep.

Anyone remember that kid we sent to the marlins about a decade ago that stole like 100 bases in his first 2 years? Cant remember his name, but it was something like our DH's, if I remember correctly. Very different baseball players, but maybe cousins or something.

Yeah, this is a culture problem. It's not aggressiveness. It's reckless. It's negligence. NYY handing the game back to you. You trade the first out to get you within a run with the sac fly. You're already in scoring position. Swapping that situation for 2 outs with Moreland up to face Chapman is a killer. Coaching praising these horrible decisions is absurd.

At some point, the bad base running MUST be a reflection of the coaching, manager, team culture. This is just careless, sloppy and wasteful - and NOT indicative of a well run, championship level team. Needs to be cleaned up and fast. Unfortunately I have to agree. Individual baserunning errors are on the player, but the Red Sox carelessness on the bases is cultural. Eduardo Nunez officially became a true red sock tonight.

If the Red Sox find a way to steal this game away and rip out the hearts of Yankees fans tonight, that will show me something, a lot actually. It wouldn't be stealing. It would be reclaiming what is rightfully yours.

Lol the NESN graphic said it was Hanley's 8th HR of the season. I know he's been somewhat disappointing, but not that bad.
