Assemble your own list of the Red Sox's top 20 prospects as of now.
My list:
1. Bogaerts 2. Bradley 3. Webster 4. Ranaudo 5. De La Rosa 6. Cecchini 7. Barnes 8. Owens 9. Workman 10. Brentz 11. Britton 12. Swihart 13. Ball 14. Betts 15. Marrero 16. Vazquez 17. Johnson 18. De La Cruz 19. Denney 20. Wilson
I only have Barnes at #7 because he has struggled a little as of late. I think that he could be in the top 3 easily.

My list: www.soxprospects.com/index.htmlThis might be a little bit of a nit pick. How much different could our personal rankings be? No on in the top 10 is reasonably going to shift more than 2 spots, and it wouldn't change the scouting report on the guys. Maybe this is a Meta forum thread. My personal biased, I would say Denney is a better prospect than Stankiewicz, Buttrey is better than Johnson, Vazquez is underestimated in general, and I would rather have younger prospects who have a chance at being good-great than developed prospects who project as AAAA players. Guess a good metaphor for this is I think a more efficient way to make money is to spend your time at the casino instead of work.

1. Bogaerts 2. Bradley 3. Webster 4. Barnes (seriously, everyone's complaining about Ranaudo, Workman, et. al. not having an "out" pitch; Barnes' fastball is that out pitch) 5. De La Rosa 6. Cecchini 7. Swihart 8. Ranaudo 9. Ball 10. Owens 11. Britton 12. Workman 13. Brentz 14. Marrero 15. Wilson 16. Betts 17. B. Johnson 18. Vazquez 19. Buttrey 20. Hassan

I can't really justify quibbling with the current top 20 too much. I'm down on Brentz & Marrero, for instance, but they should amount to something.
I do think there are some high-upside arms (Buttrey, Callahan) and a few others (Hassan, Ramos) who are knocking on the door. Hard to know what to think about low-level position players like Margot & Lin - I find it easier to dream on pitchers.
