The talk about Lars Anderson - who was the subject of a great piece on WEEI.com by Gabe Kapler - got me thinking about this article by Nate Penn which I was able to find on the web. Talks about how all the great hitters, from Ruth to Ichiro, have had the same basic swing path no matter what their set-up or start is like. It was written 7 years ago, and I remember reading it while in the US Air lounge while waiting for a delayed flight. May offer a good point for discussion, or observation, given what we can do with remote-driven slo-mo with our HD TVs today.
