Lowell's playoff chances are clear. They were eliminated yesterday for the division. To get the wild card spot, Lowell must win AND Jamestown must lose today.
Any other result (including a postponement/cancellation) eliminates Lowell.

Jamestown up 4-2, bottom 6.
Lowell jumps out to a 1-0 lead with Rijo doubling, advancing to third on a sacrifice to center, and scoring on an error. Top 2 now.

I'm sorry, I was all the way over here. I couldn't hear you. Did you say Rijo doubling? That's it? Are we to believe that the laws of mathematics cease to apply in Lowell, so that his 5/11 don't equal .455 batting average.

He's up over 140 innings so if he's gassed/fatigued it's understandable. Salem and Myrtle Beach still scoreless in the bottom of the 10th.
