Wait, I'm traveling ... how did Xander not score from second on a double?

Needed a knockout blow right there, horrible 2-0 pitch and swing by Pedroia right there, 2,3,4 spots still seem a little lost but like the way the rest of the lineup looks early

Missed some games because of school and travelling, has victorino been hitting from the left side of the plate often? First time I noticed it First game is done it in a while.

Wait, I'm traveling ... how did Xander not score from second on a double? He made a mistake, didn't play it half way.

Wait, I'm traveling ... how did Xander not score from second on a double? He was tagging because he thought it might be caught, but it went over Peralta's head. Off the bat, it didn't particularly look like a catchable ball, and Xander should have been playing halfway between second and third. Rookie mistake, the kind that Farrell and DiScarcina warned about. EDIT: But I'll forgive him, because his playoff triple-slash is now .667/.800/1.333.

Too tight of a strike zone tonight for either SP to go more than 5, this could get interesting.

Drew, on the other hand, still looks completely lost at the plate. I can't remember the last time he actually drove the ball-- it's been a steady diet of groundouts to second, strikeouts, and popups. He might get a day off in favor of Xander in game 6, especially considering how good Scherzer's changeup is.

Are you ****ing kidding me Iglesias? Holy ****. Sick play, but its crazy how one 85 mph change-up can mask .059

Lester's cutter has been sharp tonight. Getting both swinging and called strikes aplenty. The reemergence of that pitch explains a lot of his recent revival.

That is freakin' enormous.
edit: Also, that's why Drew's still playing. Nice defensive play by him.

That double play might have saved the game. Geez, how many years of PFP and he still hasn't learned to set his feet. Scares me every time he has to throw to a base. Whew.
