Hey all,
It’s that time of year where we ask that you cast your vote for the second baseman in the Red Sox minor league system that you believe will have the best 2014 season. Keep in mind that you are voting with respect to who you predict will be perform the best on the field, not who you consider to be the best prospect. As per usual, each player is only eligible for one position and thus will not appear on multiple polls.
Note that this poll will close on March 17. We look forward to seeing your votes!
Best, Matt

Coyle at 2B? Should he be listed at 3B?

Coyle at 2B? Should he be listed at 3B? I don't think he's ever played anywhere other than 2B.

Taking a few ground balls at a position doesn't mean a guy is moving there - he's still very much a second baseman by trade.

No big deal but isn't he slated to be the starting 3B in AA?

In his defense, that changed like 2-3 days ago, and Coyle was projected there before. It's based on educated speculation, which may or may not pan out.
