I came across a few inconsistencies with players option years remaining from the player pages and the 40 man page with Herrera, Cecchini, Escobar, and Rivero.

on the 40 man roster page Clay Buchholz salary for 2016 & 2017 is not highlighted in blue, green or red. I thought his last year or 2 were some kind of option?
MP edit: Good catch. He has club options for 2016 and 2017. Thanks and fixed!

On the player page for Marco Hernandez it says he's 24 rather than 22.

"Tendency" is mispelled in the scouting report for Pat Light. I feel like a jerk.

Sneak peek: we're conducting a full-scale content review of the scouting report for every player in the system. These things will likely be fixed during that process. I know this contradicts what Matt said, but maybe hold off for a bit on scouting report stuff.

eric appears to be correct in the spring training thread, Ogando should have no options. The 40 man shows 3 options.
EDIT: Now moonstone has come up with an alternative. I have no idea who is right and if either matches with what we have on the 40 man roster page.

Wade Miley is listed as a RHP in the Future Homegrown Red Sox Rosters. 2015 is accurate, but 2016-2019 isn't.

I also found Hanley Ramirez list on the 2019 roster in the Future Homegrown Red Sox Rosters. His contract ends after the 2018.

Josh Pennington's profile shows him as Rule 5 eligible in 2018. However, his signing with the Sox (7/17/2014) came 11 days after his 19th birthday (b. 7/6/1995). If the signing date is correct, that makes him eligible for the fourth Rule 5 draft after that date, which would be 2017. |
