Serious buzzard luck on batted ball here. Sizemore nutted that one.

Well, ****. Decision to get the man at first instead of going for the double play sure looks dumb now.

I just checked the calendar. It's not 2012. Someone tell this team, please.

I hate to say it but the MFYs look much worse than this team on paper. And they've had an easier schedule. But on the field?...

Might be time to blow this team up.

I'm cheering for a non-tying non-lead-taking sac fly. That's how sad this has become.

Bogaerts has an RBI single everything else doesn't matter.

1/10 with RISP, no hits since the first inning.
Just a complete inability to hit the ball hard. How many pop-ups and lazy fly balls have they hit tonight?

At least they haven't lost more than one game at a time. That's key.

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Awfully sporting of the Robin Ventura to spot the Red Sox two baserunners before bringing in an actual pitcher here.

Thank god it's the other team getting squeezed.
Seriously, though, we can't win this game on walks alone. Gotta start swinging the bat. That 3-0 pitch was right down the heart of the plate, right in Bogaerts' wheelhouse. He has to learn to attack that one.

Hopefully that frozen rope by Gomes wakes up the offense.

Again, rooting for a sac fly. Sigh. This is just going to prolong the agony.

The bench was far to excited about a sac fly, they were slapping five harder than Koji.

Meanwhile, I'm still wondering why any pitcher throws Pierzynski a strike. Dude just swinging.
