Thank god it's the other team getting squeezed. Seriously, though, we can't win this game on walks alone. Gotta start swinging the bat. That 3-0 pitch was right down the heart of the plate, right in Bogaerts' wheelhouse. He has to learn to attack that one. i am sorry..the inability to win games is grating, for sure.....but this 21 year old will have on the job training, and he is the type of generational player that we haven't developed since Roger Clemens. This is not fair at all.

My fantasy is that JBJ hits one out and then makes a spectacular game saving catch to end it.
It's good to have dreams.

But if Bogaerts is going to be the type of player we want him to be, this is the type of stuff he has to work on.

I have sympathy for both teams tonight because it's got to be frustrating not to know where the hell the strike zone is.
MLB seems to be trying to overtake the NBA in quality of officiating.

I definitely agree Bogaerts needs to be more passive aggressive, sometimes putting the ball in play is better than taking the free pass especially on an offense that has been struggling. He'll learn though, he has shown a very good ability of learning and progressing.

Miller - nice job by the long lefty. How many hits does it take to score a run: three?

So... they did score the go-ahead run... but they did so without getting a hit. Is that nit-picky? I think it's nit-picky.

Look what happened: Closer allowed leadoff batter to reach base by BB. It's no-no. Secondly, Bogearts doesn't have the range to get final out. It sucks.

I know my frustrations just made me think in the moment that it could have been made.... rough game and start to the season I hear you. Not going to lie, I'm really staring to wish the Sox brought Drew back and let Butler handle the catching duties with Ross. I don't mean to single anyone out, but it would have given us a better team. It's still quite early, but the bleak start makes you wonder.

I can't imagine how ****** it is to play in a game like this. At least I can just turn it off and go to bed.
Well, I guess they have their piles of money to sleep on. That probably makes up for some of it.

No more complaining about how this team is not taking walks. They've got 11 15 so far tonight. They've just been saving them up.
