I'll be at today's game in Portland. It's drizzling but there is a good chance it will get in. I'll be there tomorrow also. I'll share my impressions of course. And photos hopefully.

Meneses to Portland intriguing in some ways. They are pretty set in each infield position, so I guess he will become the super utility infielder.

Portland delayed but cool deal, I can stream both the Sox and a minor league game simultaneously.

Portland going to extras. Mookie's slump continues going 1-5 (so far). Almost down to .400 BA Trenton with a run in the 10th, then the Sea Dogs answer on Swihart's solo HR. On to the 11th Something I knew about but had never seen. Swihart's homer was against a switch pitcher. We had a switch hitter up against a switch pitcher. The pitcher decided to pitch lefty and Swihart deposited one of them over the Portland monster. Mookie's glove didn't slump, just made a Petey-like diving stop to the first base side and got the runner at first. that prevented a go-ahead run. Mookie 1-6 and not overly impressive tonight.I'd bet that he's grounded out more the last two games than he did the first 16. The bat speed and short stroke is obvious though. Tonight he had more than one pitch he should have hammered. Cellestino and Scott looked impressive. Shaw's homer was a line shot to center field. He has a weird high leg kick but ends up in a nice position to hit. I was surprised at how much power he has, probably as much as Lavarnway or Brentz. He also did well with no swings on pitches that weren't strikes. Swihart,s earlier double was hit lefty and was a left field wall ball. Nice mechanics from both sides. He's going to put wear and tear on the Monster. Ramos uses a Lau like swing, extending with one hand.

But Mookie still struggling at the plate tonight, now 1-6 and only hitting .410 I'll check the final in the a.m., it's midnight here in Cyprus and I need to get to bed. Looking forward to getting back on Eastern Standard Time.

Both Swihart and Mookie homering to extend the game in extra innings. This has been a pretty exciting game for the prospects.

Hissey gives up only 2 hits but then the go-ahead run on a wild pitch.

Coyle is batting... but he shouldn't be, they subbed in Welch when Hissey took the mound so the DH should be out.

Exciting game. Shaw single, Rivero flyout (0-7), Swihart double. Batting left, he hit another one high off the left field wall. Coyle strikeout, Ramos up. Two run walkoff single.
