So we're going with a 24 man roster for that long? That's not what Cafardo meant or how it works. When Cafardo mentioned "active roster," he meant 40-man roster. Uggh, Cafardo...

jimed was clearly joking, and more importantly, cafardo is an idiot for saying it that way.

And Britton pitched yesterday, so I have no idea why you'd think that, amfox. Based on the way he is pitching, I am idly speculating that something may be wrong with him. I am well aware that he pitched yesterday - he was bailed out of a potential large inning by yesterday's triple play.

You guys in AAA better get your acts together or you'll get passed. Johnson has been a hi-lite over the 1st 6+ weeks. Kukuk is pitching well also. By the way....how do you pronounce his name?

Kukuk is pitching well also. By the way....how do you pronounce his name? Well, I pronounce it Koo-cook (Koo rhymes with goo, cook like the profession), but that's just my germanic take on it.

I've seen that written more than once.

Just a change to give them a few at bats? Rijo lead off the top of the 5th and grounded out, and didn't take the field for the bottom half. Since they had Asuaje at SS and Lin at DH, they had to lose the DH to plug the defensive hole. Looks like some sort of Rijo leg problem; hopefully just a tweak.

He also had a good game 3/4 with a HR & BB.
