I was just curious:
How often are scouting reports on player pages updated?
And when they are, do you remove information/opinions that are no longer valid? For example, Travis Shaw's player page lists him as a fringe starter for a lower tier team. Is that still the general consensus?
It might be helpful (for me, at least) to date the scouting reports so that I'd know that it might not be the most up-to-date scouting report when I'm trying to solidify my opinion of a player.
Thanks in advance.

I agree about the dating. For that specific question, I think that is still probably his projection (which assumes he keeps progressing). Personally, I'd peg him for a Lavarnway-type bat, but he's not even there yet. Some will disagree (and my opinion is the opposite of official for this site).

I would agree that some version control would be helpful. I especially think years later, to see how that prospect developed. For example, I would like to go to the Jon Lester page and read his scouting report from when he was drafted, when we had a better scout on him, and before he graduated. Maybe that is too much to ask, but if I am looking at his page right now I really don't know when the scouting report is from.

I agree that at least a date on the scouting report would be appreciated.
