Joe Gunkel jumps 6 up to # 31. Still underrated.

Miguel Pena is listed in your spreadsheet as 24, but doesn't turn 24 until October (according to this site). I should mention that I saw this while trying to clarify to whom "Miggy Pena" referred. This site lists his nickname as "Mickey" (and he's listed that way on the team rosters page.) Anyway, not really that important, and quite possibly has no "correct" spelling.
Also, will take this time to say again how much I appreciate these archives and summaries. It's something I look forward to each week.

Thanks, Okin. I had his birthday wrong.
As for the name, I think when he was first ranked on the site he was referred to as Miggy rather than Mickey. Some long buried neuron must have fired when I was writing that.

Yup. It was a mistake.
Edit: Just catching up on my reading. I think now I'll change his name to Toasty.

Garin Cecchini is too high. Bad defensive 3rd basemen who can't hit for power. I don't know where is his value. I would pick Christian Vazquez over Garin Cecchini without any hesitation. Christian Vazquez is a def wizard behind the plate. His bat is coming too.

A little perspective. A year ago this week, Cecchini was promoted to Double-A after hitting .350/.469/.547 at Salem. He hasn't had a great first half, but he's moved up the ladder quite quickly as well. Let's not give up on guys every time they encounter a bit of resistance. It's not like he's been a total disaster, either - a .344 OBP in his first go through Triple-A is pretty solid. His Iso was .149 last season, and only .066 this year, so it's not clear to me that he has no power - he's just not hitting for power this season.

Considering his age and amateur baseball experience he was supposed to move up quickly and hit well. He wasn't very young when he played single A ball. www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=cecchi001--- He has little value in his defense. Simply put most hyped prospect. He really needs to figure out hitting for power.
