Not enough at bats for Welch to be considered over Marrero. If that's the case, or the 30-3 majority opinion, then why include him as an option? Given that he is an option, it's pretty hard to vote for anyone else when looking at the other numbers. I love Marrero, but he's going to get a lot of love along the way. Why not give Welch some credit where credit is due to a guy who may never have another week like the last one, and may simply not be able to overcome starting out down under? |

I have no problem with the case for Marrero. I just figured that if .500/.600/.1.250 was in the poll it was a choice worthy of consideration. |
