Dont like the walks, but Ranaudo isn't wild. just not getting the calls. He's missing his pitches. Tough to get calls on the edge of the zone when missing so badly from where the catcher is set up.

Thats true, but he is more composed on the mound, compare that to Webster or Doubront who have trouble with runners on base.

And for the record I hate Derek Jeter. Whines about every called strike. And the "role model" Yankee Captain is the third best SS on this team yet making a superior SS start at 2nd when they are supposedly in the playoff hunt and every out counts. Yeah, what a team guy. AMEN

Nice At Bat by Mookie, i wish he would get more time. Pawtucket isn't where he should be Whose spot should he take? Victorinos, Mookie should Platoon with Bradley. The Offense this year has been deplorable, we can't afford to take that next season. Mookie is a leadoff candidate! He doesn't strike out 140 times like Bradley will do.

Dammit. If Capuano gave up onemore hit in that inning he would've been a TRUE YANKEE. At least for me.

This is a tough yankee lineup, all proven hitters. 1 run in 4 innings is great for Ranaudo

Ranaudo's curve is nowhere though. Pitch stays high.

He doesn't strike out 140 times like Bradley will do. Rather see Bradley play everyday myself. I want him to get as many at-bats as possible. Similarly, I think Betts needs to play - being a full-time starter in AAA is better than being the 5th OF in Boston. It will already be fairly tough to find ABs for Holt, who has earned them this year.

El capitan was just as close to that flair as drew at the swing and didn't move a muscle...Richard

“Any time you negotiate with a team and it doesn’t go the way everyone wants it, there’s always a little bit of disappointment, but that’s not to say the effort wasn’t there on both sides to get something done. But my time in Boston will be something I always remember and cherish, from 2002 to yesterday. I’ve got nothing but great things to say about the organization, the way they treated me, treated my family through the good times and bad times. We’ll see where that relationship goes later on, but right now I’m an A and I’m going to go out and perform for these guys and do the best I can to bring the championship here.” - Jon Lester
Hopefully this ends the "they blew it by offending him with a lowball offer" crap.

Can't really complain too much, but three lead off walks is not a good idea. This one finally burns him.
Add: the curveball finally looking like a weapon here in the 6th.
