Also, without looking it up, what's Joseph Monge's birth country? Didn't he get drafted out of a Puerto Rican school? Obviously might not be his birth country though.

They have this new thingammabob called Google.
At least him, Vazquez, Coste are all grads of the Purto Rican Academy. It's relatively new after the MLB greed disaster that pretty much made soccer the dominant sport in Puerto Rico. They've placed prospects all over basball including highly ranked Carlos Correa and I believe Vazquez is the first grad to make the majors.

Nice to see Teddy have a good game. I thought he might have a good year this year.
Of course I also thought Callahan and Smith would make big leaps forward. So...
I want to be interested in that Lowell middle infield, Flores/Dubon/Lopez(3H tonight). We'll see how they adjust to better pitching. Flores strikes out a lot, and Lopez has AJ Pierzynski type walk numbers (but few Ks).

It seems like Danny Mars should be considered a significant prospect. He's only 20. He's hitting way above every other guy on the team. He doesn't look like he has a defensively challenged body type for an OF ( he's even a CF so he can't be that slow ). Why no love from the street? Do you think that the Sox might not have considered their 6th pick a throw away this year? Maybe they really wanted him. We drafted Josh Reddick in the 17th round. Is this guy for real or what? We aren't hearing much about him.
He looks like he even deserves a thread to me. For the suggestion pile!

But he certainly has outperformed most of this year's draft picks so far.
