In the above linked grantland article, Pedro makes a surprisingly eloquent and subtle case for his best years vs Clayton 2014.

I think most on this site will agree with his points in this very entertaining letter.

Not sure what's going on here, but Pedro is still the best pitcher ever. People need to remember he put up those insane numbers playing at Fenway and not in the AL West, and that he faced 6-7 roided up monsters every turn of the line-up while nowadays Kershaw pitches to Didi Gregorius and Everth Cabrera.
