Yeah that’s as bad as it can get. All of them will face consequences now. I think Kukuk is the most who will be affected for no reason of him whereas Cody played smartly. My cousin who works with a Los Angeles DUI attorney told me that life gonna be tough now for everyone.

Matt Eddy @matteddyba 35m35 minutes ago #RedSox officially release LHP Cody Kukuk, who on June 9 was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison on three felony counts, including robbery.

Man that's such a weird draft. Nailed 6 (Barnes, Swihart, Owens, Bradley, Ramirez, Betts) of their first 8 picks (unless you think they had the Jerez mound conversion in mind as a possibility at the time, in which it's potentially 7), and then with their next five picks hit on Shaw, couldn't sign Golson away from Ole Miss, and had the 20 makeup crew of Kukuk, Koback, and Pena. And then in theory they lucked into being able to sign Betts because Golson didn't sign.

That draft may turn out to be the most productive ever.

That draft may turn out to be the most productive ever. Especially if counting "Years in the Bigs" and the Big House is included.
