This could be a silly question but I have noticed while reading some of the current scouting reports the phrase "projectable frame" (Josh Ockimey"), "projectable right hander" (Kevin Steen), & "projectable pitchers frame" (Michael Kopech) used. What is meant by "projectable" in these instances?

They have a build that they look like they'll fill into to get some extra velocity as they add muscle. Kinda like most tall skinny teenagers.

Well, I think that's a little too specific. That's a projectable frame. But I think projectable just generally means that you can project changes in the future of a positive nature. As opposed to a player who either, say, has filled out physically (Chavis, for example, doesn't project to change much physically), or whose stuff or skills doesn't look to have much improvement remaining (think, say, a college draftee who has advanced skills but they aren't going to get much better in pro ball).
