DetailsA lot of other guys moved up or down a bit this time plus there were some changes in the grades, all of which is noted in the spreadsheet on the Details link above. Summary- Manuel Margot is up from 4th to 3rd.
- Eduardo Rodriguez rose from 6 to 4.
- Henry owens on the other had dropped from 3 to 5.
- Teddy Stankiewicz jumped from 20th up to 16.
- Bryce Brentz rose from 23 to 19.
- At 20 and 21 are Mauricio Dubon and Nick Longhi, each up 5 spots and at new high rankings.
- Edwin Escobar fell by 8 landing in 22nd.
- Jacob Dahlstrand moved up from 48 to 34.
- Henry Ramos plummeted from 21 to 37.
- Pat Light's star rose from 54 up to 38.
- Dalier Hinojosa down from 34 to 41
- Jonathan Aro up from 52 to 43.
- Ty Buttrey up from 55 to 44.
- Zeke Spruill is ranked for the first time at # 48.
- Justin Haley down by 14 to 49.
- German Tavares fell 13 down to 50.
- Jake Romanski and Jeffry Fernandez are at 51 and 52, both up 6.
- Luis Alex Basabe and Trenton Kemp are 53 and 54, both down 8.
- Danny Mars fell by 11 from 45 to 56
- Falling out of the rankings this week are:
- Ben Moore (from 50 last time)
- Jordan Betts (51)
- Jamie Callahan (53)
- Joseph Monge (59)

I know it's just typos, but Margot went 4-3 and ERod 6-4.
Thanks for doing this by the way. Always appreciated.
I'll also note (interesting to me) that Ball and Cecchini switched places. I'm intrigued by the rise for Spruill. I assumed he was an also-ran emergency depth, but there must be some good reports on him. Maybe he's an option to help out the big club at some point this summer. Clearly the Sox value him more than they did Varvarro.

Interesting drop for Hinojosa on the eve of his promotion... any particular reason for that?

I know these rankings are from the end of April. I'm wondering how much Ty Buttrey will move up considering how well he has pitched since his promotion to Salem several weeks ago? The most recent prospects write up by Speier notes that hes really starting to look like a prospect now. Alex indicated he has apparently found some velocity that he hadnt really had since high school.

Alex indicated he has apparently found some velocity that he hadnt really had since high school. I think I've tipped off enough of the June 1 rankings update, unfortunately. You'll have to find out on Monday with everyone else!
