Wonder if Jimenez is holding Whitson's spot for a little bit. Just seems like a strange candidate to jump straight from rookie ball - it's not like he lit up the GCL.

Decent start for E-Rod today. Didnt have his best stuff and let up some loud outs, but he was able to pitch out of a few jams he got into.

Cecchini is having a dreadful year. Starting to look like he may never figure it out.

Just saw this on Barstool. Quintero trying to throw out a runner at 3rd and nails the batter in the stomach. Must have been from yesterday/ vine.co/v/e7QLrnjB6jQoouuuch

Clearly intentional. Surprised he didn't go for the crotch.

How do you not know, as a player with 12 seasons of MLB service time, that the batter doesn't have to move out of your way if he's in the box? (Note: I'm assuming he did it to bet the interference call, not because he has something against Maile.)

Straight up bush league right there. Since he plays in the bush leagues I assume you calling the play appropriate.

Cecchini is having a dreadful year. Starting to look like he may never figure it out. Actually, the majority of the glamorous, prospect-dominated 'Tucket lineup has struggled out of the gate. JBJ and Brentz are showing something, and of course Swihart was doing OK except for power. The rest, not so much in the early going. Marrero is coming back to Earth, and the rest haven't yet left the ground.
